NEW INITIATIVE

This Mother’s Day, we are launching something deeply meaningful—and urgent.

Through a partnership between Spreadlove718 Foundation and Rabbanit Zadikim Yisrael-Lewi on behalf of Commandment Keepers Ethiopian Hebrew Congregation (Commandment Keepers EHC), we are supporting 21 Maasai girls from the Iremito community in Amboseli, Kajiado County, Kenya, ages 9–16.

Right now, these girls are out of school. Without access to education, they face serious and life-altering risks, including:

• Early marriage

• Early pregnancy

• Female genital mutilation (FGM) — a harmful practice that continues to affect girls in some rural communities

• Loss of educational opportunity and long-term independence

Boarding school provides structure, safety, and the opportunity for these girls to continue learning and building their futures. We are raising funds to directly support their return to school:

• $533.19 – Sponsor a girl for a full year (tuition, uniform, shoes, supplies, and dignity items)

• $399.19 – Tuition only

• $84 – Uniforms & School shoes

• $50 – School Supplies/Dignity kits (sanitary supplies that help girls remain in school consistently)

For those looking to make a lasting impact:

• 2 years – $1,066.38

• 5 years – $2,665.95

💼 Team Giving Idea

One meaningful way to support this initiative is by coming together as a team, department, office group, or circle of friends to sponsor a girl’s education collectively.

Below, you will find a list of the girls currently in need of support, along with their photos. Sponsors may choose to support a specific girl directly, helping provide her with access to education, school supplies, uniforms, shoes, and essential sanitary items needed to remain in school safely and consistently. For example, if 10 people each contribute approximately $55, together you can fully sponsor one girl for an entire school year—including tuition, uniform, shoes, school supplies, and sanitary items.

Departments, employee resource groups, businesses, faith communities, and families can also choose to sponsor multiple girls together or contribute toward multi-year sponsorships that create long-term impact. Sometimes lasting change begins with a group of people deciding to come together for one purpose—to change a child’s future.

This campaign runs from Mother’s Day (May 10)—honoring the power of nurturing and protection—through Juneteenth (June 19), a day that represents freedom, progress, and opportunity.

We invite you to be part of this impact.
