Dealing with trauma whether it involves death, divorce, domestic violence or addiction is overwhelming. Most people do not know where to begin. After dodging COVID-19 for two years, my husband tested positive in early 2022. A few short weeks later he passed away. My entire life I dreamed of the family I was blessed with. This dream all came crashing down with my husband’s passing. The responsibilities fell solely on me to continue on with life - for myself and my young children.

After dealing with death first-hand during the pandemic, it became clear that it is my calling to help women and girls transition into their next phase of life following trauma. It has become my mission to be a resource for women by sharing my knowledge and experience. I am here so other women do not have to go through those fights and hard conversations alone. One of the hardest parts during any transition is still taking care of the legal aspects. You are still in complete shock and pain, but arrangements must be made, forms need to be filled out and lawyers have to be contacted. I am fortunate enough to have worked in the legal industry for over 15 years so I was ready and equipped to fight, but not all women and girls are. Through Spreadlove718, I hope to use my experience and expertise to support women and girls through the times when they need it the most.
